The entire journal (cover image) as well as the individual photographs have been scanned. From the Preface: "As the summer of 1888 drew near, some young friends put their heads together to arrange a pleasant trip, and realizing that it is not good for man (and consequently woman) to be alone, they decided to take pity on a few of the sons of Adam, of George Fox persuasion, inviting them to join in an excursion to Mt.
